Warning

Activities such as climbing, alpine climbing, caving, canyoning and work done at heights are dangerous and can cause serious, even fatal, injuries. It is your responsibility to learn the appropriate safety procedures for these activities. ROCA accepts no responsibility for the direct, indirect or accidental consequences or any other type of damage occurring as a result of using its products. Never buy ROCA gear second hand. If you are not qualified to carry out these activities, do not use this gear. There is no better way to learn than practising under the supervision of a competent, qualified instructor.

The information given is for guidance only and subject to change or modification.

All Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) manufactured by ROCA is CE certified.
Important recommendations Never use this gear without making sure you have read and fully understood its particular technical information. Alpine climbers and climbers weighing over 80 kg should use only the larger diameters (9, 10.5 and 11 mm). Do not use semi-static and canyoning ropes over 10% of their tensile value. Avoid rappelling over 2 m/s, and sliding and tightening manoeuvres (fixed rope-ways, Tibetan bridges, etc.).
Guarantee Our products are guaranteed for three years and against manufacturing defects only. The guarantee does not cover normal wear or improper use. Products should be returned to Roca only once authorisation has been given.
ATTENTION From 2005 onwards, the UIAA will not acknowledge the validity of the Sharp Edge 108 resistance test because of the disparity and uncertainty in this test's methods and results. Our ropes labelled with the logo Hard Choc have been rigorously tested in our own facilities.

The technical details of the ropes and harnesses are subject to variations inherent in raw materials or in the manufacturing processes and are subject to a tolerance of 2%.
